# Borrowing Assets from the Red Bank

### Step 1: Choose an Asset to Borrow

Once you have deposited assets in the protocol, you can now borrow assets against it.

Choose the asset you want to borrow under "MY BORROWINGS" section in RED BANK page, and then click on "Borrow". For this guide we are borrowing LUNA.

### Step 2: Confirm Deposit Amount

Input the amount of assets you want to borrow and click on "Borrow" option. Then confirm the transaction on the extension wallet.

Note that the platform allows you to borrow a maximum of 75% of your deposited collateral.

### Step 3: Borrow Confirmed!

You now have successfully borrowed assets from the Mars Protocol.
