# How to Fund Your Terra Wallet
## Using a Fiat-to-Crypto Gateway
If you are completely new to crypto, you can buy cryptocurrencies using available Fiat-to-Crypto Gateways. For this tutorial, we will be using [Moonpay](https://www.moonpay.com/).
### Step-by-step guide on how to buy Cryptocurrencies using Moonpay:
### 1. Go to Website
Visit [https://buy.moonpay.com](https://buy.moonpay.com/) and choose the currency you want to buy using the dropdown button. For this tutorial, we are using UST as an example.
After choosing the currency, input the buying amount and click on "Continue".
### **2. Input your $UST Address**
On the next page, you will be prompted to insert your wallet address.
You can get your $UST address from your xDEFI or Terra Station web extension wallet. Just copy and paste the address (it will begin with "terra"), and click on "Continue".
### **3. Input your Email Address**
Type your email address, tick the "I Agree" box after reading, and click on "Continue".
### **4. Provide Your Identity Details**
Now, we enter the identity verification process.
Insert the verification details asked on this page, and then click on "Continue".
### **5. Insert Billing Address**
On the next page, you need to provide your address for Billing purpose.
After filling it, click on "Continue".
### **6. Choose Payment Method**
Choose the payment method from all the available options. The available options are customized to your jurisdiction.
### **7. Enter Card Billing Details**
Fill in the card billing address details, and click on "Continue".
### **8. Enter Card Details**
Enter the details of the card you are going to use to purchase the cryptocurrency that you chose in the first step.
Once done, Click on "Continue".

## Bridging Assets from other Blockchains
If you already have Terra assets on Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain, you can move that crypto to the Terra blockchain by using the [Terra Bridge](https://bridge.terra.money/). Here is a step-by-step guide on how to do that:
### Step 1: Go to
Go to [Terra Bridge](https://bridge.terra.money/) and select the chain you want to switch your asset from/to.
### Step 2: Connect Wallet
Click on "Connect Wallet".
Based on the chain you choose, you will see different options to connect. Choose the one in which you have your funds stored for switching purpose.
### Step 3: Select the token
Once connected, click on the token column under "Asset" section, and choose the token you want to switch from the dropdown menu. For this tutorial, we will take UST as an example.
### Step 4: Input Amount and Destination Address
Insert the amount you want to switch to another chain, and also provide the destination address where you want to receive those assets. Then, click on "Next".

$1 or 0.1% fee (which ever is greater) from the transfer amount is charge on cross-chain transfer using the Shuttle bridge. \

**A transaction with amount smaller than $1 value will be ignored.**

### **Step 5: Confirm the Switch Transaction**
Check the destination address and amount once again, and "confirm" the transaction.
### Step 6: Confirm Transaction on connected Wallet
Confirm the transaction on the wallet you connected from, in this case "Metamask".
### And Done!
Your transaction will take some times to confirm, but the tokens should appear in your wallet within an hour.
